Alam-Kuh, with an elavation of 4848 meters, is the second highest peak in Iran and probably the most challenging one. Climbing via north routes needs hard struggling with rock, ice and rock falls. Alam-Kuh is located in Alborz Mountain Range in Mazandaran province near Chalus city.
